“Prof” directs the testing of milk for mastitis. Agriculture Mr. Harold Clark from the State Department of Agriculture assist the boys in judging milk for flavor in preparation for the Barrc Milk Judging Contest. Members of the Freshman class learning to test milk for butter fat. Guidance All Freshmen are required to take guidance. Each group meets twice a week with Mr. Stacy. Pictured a' the right, several students are engaged in gather- ing material regarding possible future occupations. 10

Homemaking Studying family needs Family members must study their needs in a home to determine whether the space they have gives them the satisfaction they desire at a price they can afford. There’s lots to learn about food! Good food for all the family is one of the homemaker’s major responsibilities. Teen- agers should get acquainted with the daily food problems and learn how they can do their share. Can you stitch a straight seam? Every girl likes pretty clothes and plenty of them. The girl who can sew can have more clothes for the same amount of money which she would otherwise spend for ready made garments plus the satis- faction of an interesting hobby. 9
