Principal's Message To the Members of the Graduating Class: Graduation from high school is one of the great milestones in human life. You as members of the Class of 1951 are to be congratu- lated on your accomplishments. As a group, you rank among the more promising of our classes in recent years, so we think we may look to you to continue your good work. During the past four years you have enjoyed a great many good times together and you have probably formed some friendships which will last throughout your lives. High school years are good years in life and are perhaps the most carefree years of all. Next year you'll either be going to work or away to school where you aren’t known and where no one will take the personal interest in you that parents and teachers have done thus far. Your own determination will be more important than it has been up to now. We all have confi- dence in you and believe you have the necessary intellectual equipment to go on successfully. Good luck to you.' Rolfe W. Schoppe. Sponsor’s Message To the Class of 1951: As you look toward your Graduation Day it is with mixed emo- tions --regret and anticipation. Regret for leaving school and friends: anticipation for what the future will bring you. Many are the duties and tasks which you, as students, face up- on your graduation. May you have the courage and stamina necessary to be able to bear them. Only one man in a million ever has an opportunity to achieve greatness by single deed. If we are ever to do anything great, it must be in constantly doing the little things to the best of our ability . Good luck to a wonderful class. 4 Mrs. Houghaboom.
