OUR MUSICAL PAST Our vocal groups participated in several concerts, school assemblies, and community activities under the guidance of Miss Annalee Harris. One of the highlights of the year was the Christmas con- cert, held at the Orleans Municipal Theater. The high school band, directed by Miss Jan Markle, also had a rewarding year. Uniforms were purchased by the Band Boosters' Club. The band played at football and basketball games, the Christ- mas concert, and the spring concert. The Band Follies reflected the progress of the whole group. Organized by several high school musicians, the Blue Notes made their debut at the Home- coming Dance. Mr. Perry at the piano and Miss Markle at the clarinet helped maintain the spark needed for many successful social evenings. r fX-x.-.,v-f- J D.
