The Trojan Cagers, with plenty of hard practicing behind them, came through their season winning five thrilling games out of the seven played, Coach Trimble carried a squad of fifteen which were in tip top condition and showed their skill in a very successful season. The most thrilling game for the Orland fans was the final tilt against Anderson for the championship, The teams kept the fans on the edge of their seats as they battled back and forth making goals. Finally the Cubs broke out in the final quarter and won 69 to 56, leaving Orland in second place in the league, JOHN SECOND IERRY MILLER NORMAN BATES REGGIE OLNEY

Travis Hatcher, who did a terrific job in the high hurdles, won a chance at the state meet and brought home a 6th place, keeping up the tradition of Orland High Trackmen, A,B, and C divisions were all very strong and won most of the track meets.
