Text from Pages 1 - 48 of the 1967 volume:

THE 1967 EAGLE During our years at Orland School, we, as seniors, have had a lot of fun and a lot of trials. Here is the story of our last year of high school. It is a record of our joys and achievements. We are sorry that all of our cherished memories cannot be concluded in this yearbook, but we hope that you will have fond memories as you look through “The 1967 Eagle.” Published by Senior Class ORLAND HIGH SCHOOL Madison, South Dakota This Page Sponsored By WIEDENMAN INCORPORATED, INSURANCE' DEDICATION Since 1880, many wonderful people have come to the Orland Community. The original district was called “Antelope.” Orland has been a fully accredited high school offering four years of high school work since 1919. Many respected people have graduated from Orland that now work in professional fields: doctors, dentists, busi- nessmen, engineers and many others too numerous to mention. Many are farmers and housewives who have stayed in the district. We want to dedicate the “1967 Eagle” to the people of the Orland Community. It is because of your generosity that we have been able to get a good education throughout the past years. All we can say to you people is “Thank You.” 2 This Page Sponsored By “DONALD GRAYSON.” DON'S MOBIL STATION ADMINISTRATION BOARD OF EDUCATION SUPERINTENDENT JULIUS WERLE Guidance Counselor PRESIDENT.....................Andy Lee VICE-PRESIDENT...........Alfred Behrend CLERK....................Lewis O. It is with fond memories that we say a sad farewell to O.H.S.—the school that has not only been an institution of learning, but also a center of the social life of the community. So as we close the pages of this book, we bid all “Adieu.” 38 This Page Sponsored By “DOMESTIC SEED AND SUPPLY” iiiBiii EQUIPMENT REINERS FARM COMPANY Admi ral Appi iances Hamilton Washers Lawn Boy Mowers o Dryers CX Beeghly Hybrid Seed Kuker Farm Crop Farm Mach i nery Corn Sprayers xj C o $5.00 ADVERTISEMENTS Sunshine State Hatchery Culligan's Soft Water Service Collignon's Our Own Hardware Northwestern National Bank Jerry Prostrollo Security Bank S' Galloway’s 1 Kent’s Repair iTi CARGILL INCORPORATED H.
