Class Prophecy Looking into my crystal ball I can see the class of 1950, as .they will be ten years from now. I see Pat Clancy, a lovely brunette. She is happily married to a handsome graduate of State College. They live on a farm South of Brookings. Larry Robson is rich and prosperous after taking his jet plane on a trip to the moon. 1 find Donald Tupper working in Einstein’s laboratory. He is making use of the knowledge he absorbed while attending Orland. He is working on the Helium Bomb. I see Fern Williams teaching school in Orland. She is teaching English and Physical Education. Orland now has a good basketball team. Jack Miller is playing basketball with the Minneapolis Lakers. He teaches school for past time. I now see Tom Williams on a farm South of Junius. He is married to a girl he met at college. They have a family of two, both boys, for the future Orland basketball team. Class Poem Now comes the time to say farewell. Oh, lots of stories We could tell. But there is one I’ll repeat o'er and o'er. Oh, you won’t need to scold us anymore. Oh, yes, we’ve loved it thru and thru. And that I’m sure you know 'tis true. And next year when our work is new, I know of’ times we’ll think of you. So now it’s time to say goodbye. And we will say it with a sigh. But there is one thing we’re happy for’ Oh, you won’t need to scold us anymore. 11
