J, l :L 2 E: +11 fl i,,f- ORlgKAm Hisfory mm g mom e gg S B v 956 L, Looking back upon our four short years of high school, we find thirty six inexperienced freshmen being taken under the shelterlng wing of Irs Wood Larry Sreca became president of us greenhorns, Pat Ingersoll, vice presldent, Nick Buffa, secretary, and Rlchard Milotte, treasurer Ve sent Gail Ann Bolton and Doug Burhyte to Student Council To prove experience is not the best teacher, we started our high school years off by wlnnlng first prize in the Hallowe'en float contest Many fellas proved their abillty in ath letics, as did the girls in cheerleadlng, as freshmen As we became struggllng sophomores, Douglas Burhyte became president, Gail Ann Bolton, v1ce presldent, Ann Towne, secretary, and Peg Underwood, treasurer We sent Pat Ingersoll and Larry Ra dell to Student Council Bake sales, raffles, Winter Nonderland, our first experience wlth an orchestra dance, all added to our fi nancial status This year and again the following year we captured first prize in the hallowe'en float contest As juniors we found our class had diminished to twenty eight Doug Burhyte was again elected president, Gail Ann, v1ce presldent, Sue Cardlnal, secretary treasurer We sent Pat and Larry to Student Council again Mr Davis became our co adviser The two main ob J ctives ofthe year were our Junior Play,HYou Can't Kiss Caroline, and our Junior Prom, 'In An Old Dutch Garden H Bake sales and dan ces all helped to increase our treasury which we are building in anticipation of our New York trip Alas, our senior year has arrlved, and our high school career is nearing an end Dick Montgomery headed the class officers, with Dave Andrews as vice-president, Ann Towne as treasurer, Nancy Smith as recording secretary, and Janice Nemeyer as corresponding secre tary. Great expectations await every senior who plans to take the long anticipated New York tripat Eastertime, financedby bake sales, dances, raffles, magazine sales, and headaches.
