DCd1C3f1OH Alumm Ass oc1at10n dent, Anna Hartman, historian, Joanne Hilts, secretary, Benjamin Stevenson, treasurer Aswe seniors realize that our days as a unit in Oriskany Central School are numbered, we are overcome with a feeling of nostalgia brought on by the thought of parting and going our own separate ways when we graduate and the years be gin to slip by, our previous soli darity as a class will become just a memory about which we may reminisce There is, however, something to cheer us Very recently a new chap ter in friendship and loyalty to school and to one another started in Oriskany This means that now we seniors can still go on as a group on a slightly changed basis shall be alumni a unit in a newly organized band of alumni We can step into this brand new organization of alumni started in the fall of 1951+ Past Oriskany stu dents felt the need of maintaining old contacts, so they assembled and with infinite pains and patience or ganized an Oriskany Central School Alumni Association As their first official act the newly formed group held a banquet which three hundred former graduates of Oriskany attend This new association has selected officers and will soon be preparing a constitution for a permanent or ganization we seniors feel that such an or ganization will have tremendous in fluence for good upon our school, our community, and upon ourselves Consequently, we take great pleas ure and pride in dedicating our yearbook to the newly formed Alumni Association of the Oriskany Central School Jack Scott, sergeant-at-arms, Betsy Ann Stiefvater, vice president, Richard Briggs, presi - ed. - .
