Extremely tur- bulent waters torbade sending any small cratt trom the ship to the shore. For two tull days the marooned sailors shuddered, dranlc cottee, and smoked cig- arettes while waiting tor a return boat. When the calm finally came, the marooned were res- cued and another liberty party went ashore. -1 5. l Exasperation of liberty.
