No teachers have had as much lnfluence on therr students as those rn the commerce departmentof our hrgh school If thrs class w1ll hold any record It must be for producrng secretarles and offrce workers Joyce DeBa1llte Ann Fuelltng Judy Hlatt, Carolyn J ohansen Marvel Knowles, Judy Krlby Janet Muhle man Beth Parrrsh Joann Seys Elrzabeth Smrth Judy Stewart Karen Stropes Kathleen Sundvall, Betty Westerlund and Sherrre Wrllrams, are all grrls who would really brrghten any offrce as well as make rt more eff1c1ent It seems we have a couple of boys who would lxke to rmprove the streets of Orron. Robert Grrtton and Gary Fredell are two from our class that are gorng 1nto the freld of engrneermg Srnce we come from a farmrng communrty lt would be strange Indeed If we drdn t have any sod busters but Davrd Anderson, Rlchard Lund John Nyboer, Charles Schnelder and Davrd McKeag aren t golng to let that happen, Wlth all the changes rn farm1ng these days, they mrght need the asslstance of Rrch ard Rehn to advrse them After four years lll college study1ngAgr1culture, he should be well qualtfred Davld Lundell plans to be an archrtect so rf you know someone who needs a home destgned call on Dave. It could be that someday you w1l1 see 1 cl1n1c w1th Orron graduates of 59 wartlng to work on you. Wrrh Lee Engstrom and Davrd Leaf ready to treat your arlrnents as doctors Kent Crrppen to work on your teeth as a dentrst, and Dlane Rossr as therr specml nurse how could you go wrong? To frnd a job m some branch of chemrstry rs the reason why Terry Botsford mtends to study hard Ill college. We hope that there are a lot of breaks rn the lrves of Charles Grbson and Kenny Larson They plan to be mechanrcs If the cars are beyond frxrng Larry Mrtton wrll be on hand to sell them new Ford After buyrng your new car you could have rt servlced at one of Moore's Servrce Statrons Buzzy wrll probably own a whole Cham of them Of course, most or all of the grrls plan to do the most Important thrng of therr lives the job of maklng a home. Dorothy Engstrom, Carol Sue Follln V1rg1n1a Hodge, Norma Rossr, and Beth Parrrsh have the most def1n1te proof of therr endeavors although we may not know how well some of the others have done. Dave Gayman must have liked playlng records at noon. He would llke to be dlsc Jockey It wouldn t be too surprrsrng to f1nd Ardell HHITWICR s and John V1nDerSruck s names rn the yellow pages of the future phone books under IBXI drlvers Only they would be flytng an arrplane rnstead of drrvrng a car Mrke Fransene may be able to h1re all of those secretarres By some means or another he wants to be a mrllronalre. He'l1 probably need the servtces of an accountant and an I B M machrne operator wrth all that money Ron Woodl y and Gary Atwell would be glad to help hrm out Rlchard Helke lS a lrttle trred of takrng orders lle s gorng to have a career tn the Navy so that he can grve a few And so one can see that our class w1l1 probably spread out Into the cruel world very qurckly but I m sure we wrll all feel rndebted to good old Orron Hrgh for our educatron recerved there.
