You surely remember Beverley W1l11ams don t you? After we had come back to Orxent to rest before completmg our Journey someone told us Beverley was stlll a swntchboard operator at Spauld1ng so we went out to see her Bev IS st1ll happy she s smgle After we had talked to her for a whxle we came back to Orxent hopped aboard our plane agaxn and took off for Wlsconsm In the mxddle of the afternoon we happened to look down and see someone wavmg a red flag and thmkmg he mxght be xn trouble we landed To our surpr1se xt was none other than our fr1end Sandy Fulton He had recognlzed our plane and flagged xt down Sandy 1S st1ll workmg wxth the same old road gang that he started out wxth soon after graduatxon He and hrs wxfe, and fxve chlldren were lxving ln a tra1ler and travelmg around the country We left Sandy got back mto our plane, and once agam headed for Wxsconsm where we had heard that our old school chum Ivan Dory was workxng m an overall factory Poor Ivan mformed us that he wasn t marrxed he had been Jxlted twlce and he just wasn t xnteresed 1n gxrls any more Gxrls remember that pretty curly halr he used to have well he doesn t have lt any more It seems as though he got lt caught ln a machme and all the pretty curls were cut off He looked very mce m a toupee though We hopped 1n the rocket shxp and took off to Hollywood where we went mto a fme lookmg restaurant to eat a Rxtchhart Speclal As you have guessed Mary Lou fShortyl was the sole owner of the Rltchhart Brown Derby Whzle we were eatmg who should walk mn but Laddle son of Lassxe He very proudly walked over to hxs own specxal table Mary always d1d llke pets you know From Hollywood we headed across country to New York After arrxval we heard about the very fashxonable and romantxc star of stage screen radxo and telev1s1on Margaret Reha Smce her blonde ha1r dldn t turn out too well on telev1s1on she has dyed It a brlght red She IS makmg the fabulous sum of S500 00 a day Margaret now has the world largest collectlon of Jewels She had a good start wlth that watch member? Good Luck After thls long but enjoyable r1de IH our jet rocket we returned to our buslness whxch had been managed by Mr Speed mn our absence He ms our asslstant general manager ln case our readers haven t heard of the buslness It IS known as the lnlow Zellewager Oyster Company a busxness nett1ng over S55 OOO O0 a year KSS 000 00 from sellmg oysters and S50 000 O0 from sell1ng pearls l Even though we are classed as wealthy playboys fstxll bachelorsl we do all of the work connected wxth our modest pent house apartment ZZ . . , , . It took us a llttle less than an hour to reach Mars and after c1rc11ng the planet a few tlmes We spotted the exper1mental statxon and brought our rocket xn as close to the buxldmg as we could We stepped out of our rocket and up to the door where we met a guard The guard told us we could fmd Professor Buckmlller down the hall and to our r1ght We entered h1s offxce and found Eugene behmnd the desk performmg some kmd of experlment Fugene lnformed us he had a wlfe and four chlldren back xn New York C1ty Eugene was very busy so we told h1m to take care of hlmself and we headed back for the earth After havmg to make a forced landmg on a ranch m Colorado a cowboy 1nv1ted us 1n for lunch We sat down at the table and talked whlle the maxd brought 1n our lunch We were surnrmsed to see that the maxd was Twylah Cass We hardly recog mzed her because she had ga1ned so much wenght m the last twenty years We talked to Twylah and she told us that she had been the mald for fxve years After havlng an enjoyable VlS1t w1th her we flxed the rocket and started to Reno Nevada We called a cab after landmg at the a1rport an Reno Much to our astonlshment we found Carolme Mxtchell 1n the drxver s seat She was very surprxsed to see us She told us that she had been dr1v1ng a cab for about two years We had her take us downtown so we could see what the blg 11ttle clty was lxke Carolme told us that she got a dxvorce from her husband about two years ago She sa1d she had to have a Job us back to our rocket and We started to the thrlvlng Clty of Orlent In Orlent we found Ronald Vorrath operatmg a tavern fo mally known as Duffy s Ronald told us that busmess had pxcked up xn the last few years and now he had a very prof1table bus1ness Just as we had flmshed talkxng to Ronald we saw Chuck Frederxck step m the door Chuck came r1ght over to talk to us We found out that he was runnmg the All1s Chalmers Implement buxldmg out on the east boulevard He was proud to admxt that the Allls Chalmers tractor was the best on the market We left Orxent to fly to the wrlderness of Arkansas to a small town called Punkm vxlle There we found Waumta Scott and Joann Lucas smgxng m the Grand Old Opera buxldmg We d1dn t have a chance to talk to them but xnqulred about them We were told by a restaurant owner that they had been smgmg at the opera buxldmg about exght een years The people enjoyed thexr smgmg very much We left there only to end up on an aucraft carrxer Indeed It was hard landmg Captam John Downmg of the Umted States Navy met us at the door of our Jet as we stepped out It 15 quite an honor to have a posxtlon l1ke John has and we gave h1m our congratulatxons He showed us over the sh1p and we found out about the dlfferent mstruments John was not marr1ed thus he duin t have any home l1fe to tell us about As we stxll had some more classmates to locate we had to wxsh John luck and be on our way Z1 of some kind and started driving a taxi cab. She liked the job very much. She took
