LooN X n ---- l o. U. NOTHING V ,. s, CLASS REUNION It was a beautiful sunny day when, the Orford High School, Class of 1957, held their reunion at Prudy National Park in Orfordville. As, I, Liz Bohnhoff, fdesigner of horseshoe nailsl was walking near the shelter house, I saw an old frien of mine, ShirlFarrey. This was the first time I'd seen Shirl since we graduated ten years ago and I was very happy to see her. She told me that she gives dancing lessons. One of her most famous dances is the HPat Presley Bopn. We stood talking for a little longer then decided to go on and see who else we could find. That's ' when we saw Pat Dahse with one of her famous quarter horses from her ranch in Oklahoma. Shel tied her horse to a tree and continued to walk on with us. As we were wandering around the picnic grounds, we saw this'Tabulousn woman sitting on a bench. We sat down to talk with her and it happened to be one of our classmates, Kathy Tuck. 'She told us that she sings opera in New Yorkl We asked her where she buys her beautiful clothes, and she answered that Iolene Gilbertson designed them for her. While talking to Kathy, we noticed a poor looking lady and as she came closer we I recognized her as Janet Saevre. Janet had always said she was in school that she wanted to be a Hbumn and travel around the world, but we had never believed her. - l After talking to those two girls,-our walk continued. Suddenly we saw several girls sitting around this one man. So we thought we would investigate and see who the lucky guy was. To our great surprise it was Jim Long. He told us I that he has a Harem in Egypt, and that Benny Francis teaches his wives English. if Under a big oak tree, there were two gentlemen talking together. Coming closer we found out that one was a woman. After talking to them,a V! few minutes they told us who they wereg one was 1 Donna Ruef who drives a stock car at the Indianapolis Speedway, because there was good money in the business, and the other was LeRoy Hodel, who enjoys his occupation delivering mail around the Coast of Africa on his motorcycle We decided to sit down and rest awhile when suddenly two women started doing some very strenuous exercises. It made us tired just to watch them. We asked Donna Ruef who they were and she said that they were the Hworlds Championship Tag Team Wrestlersn, none other than Dorlyn Wenger and Donna Lehr. After resting for awhile we went on our way and much to our surprise we saw a man leading a tame lion fanyways, we had hoped he was tamej. It was bernard Badtkel Bernard said that he had a pet bear and boaconstrictor at the Brookfield Park Zoo in Chicago, Illinois. Sitting in a circle were several men arguing, so we thought we would take a walk over there and find out what they were arguing aboutl Sitting in this circle were Terry Royce, Rodney Heyerdah Merlin Maveus and Duane Ruef. Come to find out, they were arguing over who had the best jobs. W couldn't decide, so we will ask you. Going around the circle, we'll tell you what they do: Terry is now president of his own HBrewery Companyu, Rodney now plays the bugle for the. HFOX Huntn over in England, Merlin Maveus is now the HGreatest Shortyu TightmRope Walker and Duane Ruef is the great Politicianu here in T Wisconsin. ' i YYY V W After talking with him for awhile, we suddenly saw a man with green hair! As he came closer, we recognized him as Eugene Engen. He told us that he now styles HHairH over in Paris. Along with him was another old friend, Donna Lindeman, who is a secretary for the HMilwaukee Bravesu, who have won the'pennant for the last three year: Donna is very proud of them. We soon met Mrs. Victor Stavn, whose maiden name was Rosie Wells, discussing the possibility for building contracts in Africa with Sharon Nelson who had been exploring. n By themselves discussing business was Kenton Roehl and Rosemary Perkins. Rosemary told us the she now owns the 'Perky Resturantn in Hollywood, California, and she also said that Kenton raises the snails for her resturant. A man wi teen kids following him soon joined us, our surprise it was Wayne Lund. He tol th four- and to d us that he now teaches a course in baby care to the Hawaitn1Ladies. Also at the picnic grounds were two men talking with a native. We soon discovered that one was Dallas Grenawalt, who now sells pigs to Rodney Gilbert and he told us that he now owns a shack down in the Ozark Mountains, and added that it is a Hbachelors' homeu. - The former Eileen Potter, now Mrs. Harley Draves, was proudly showing off her triplets to Don Simonson and Stan Moore. Don is the director oz the Howdy Doody Show, and Stan portrays the character of HClarabelln. The day was climaxed by Joann Stauffacher's big python snake, Sylvester, doing the mambd-as Joann Stauffacher accompanied it on her clarinet Also doing a dance to the tune of the clarinet was Mrs. Robert Thostenson, the former Pat Reavi doing the great Presley Ballet. ggm YEARS LATER 4 l Bernard Badtgeg4 7BernieH Bernie lives at R.
