DR. WILLIAM A. GUSTAFSON DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT - PRINCIPAL 6 Every community realizes that its real wealth is in the young people who will finish their schooling, then willingly and effectively take on their new roles as adult members of the com- munity. We at Orestimba have had dramatic proof of this community's regard for its youth in the past year for a complete new high school. Seniors of sixty will not attend that new school, but their fine reputation as a friendly, sincere, and often hardworking group has con- tributed much to that com- munity interest and support which will provide the new school. Our job at Orestimba Union High School is to develop the most important single re- source or product any com- munity or nation can have-- intelligent and productive citizens. 0ur faculty is constantly and sincerely striving to improve the educational opportunities available to students. We have labored for four years with you to this end, and feel confident that the community's resources of human talent will be greatly increased by the graduation of the Class of 1960-the largest class ever to graduate from Orestimba Union High School.May you always remember your good years at Orestimba.
