Pictured at left are the Orem High participants in extemporanee ous speakingeSondra Sorenson, Lonaia Sims, Diane Johnson, Rob Knight, Vicki Chestnut, and Cheryl Stratton. They had to be well- informed on current topics to be able to stand and speak with only a few minutes preparation. Resolved: That we should adopt the essential features of the British system of education. This resolution was discussed pro and con by the debaters. On the left is a typical classroom scene during one of the many practice debates. All of us know that we learn much in our schools just as they are. 93
