Reflection. This photo-essay asked a question: A university . Community? However flippant or disconnected the previous remarks may have appeared, there has been an attempt to integrate student university experiences around that question. It is. however very easy on this campus to forget the worlds outside the gates. But the awareness that students gain here may be decisive to their future living experience. Do students for example, learn to treat each other as individuals? To respect the other guy who has a different skin color, or different moral values? Or even longer hair and dif- ferent clothes? Individuals are. however, part of the whole eco system of our world. The girl on'the op- posite page looks a part of that field, doesn t she? Relaxing again? Do students do nothing except relax? Only one set of study pictures so far. Evenings, weekends on the town--And what a town! Pizza, beer, flicks. What else? Watchingcar headlights? Community feeling often seems conspicuously absent between town and gown. m i? - BEAVER v hutj TAVERf
