What Makes Oregon State Great? Now Oregon came down to Oregon State, It was for football that we had made this date, The day was typical, a few showers of rain, And all in all was to be quite a game, The rally girls led us in many a yell. Posed as ducks and did quite well, And when it was over we heard old Oregon say, Wait until next year when Baker's away. Log rolling is a sport for the hardiest of men, It's a notion of motion. it's a continuous spin. It's playing with luck when you know you can't win. It's like a stacked deck against which you make your bet And knowing that the only sure thing is you're going to get wet. 4 There is a warmth in a room when a feeling is there, it’s a radiant warmth that’s not in the air, A fireplace adds its bit and in small things do we magnify it. It's as lasting as friendship can be, more plainly it's the pleasure of your company.
