Alcott, once noted, Observation more than books, experience rather than persons, are the prime educators. This book, filled with pictures of students, teachers, and many unforgetable events, is symbolic of this phase of education, for clubs and other observation and experience. Our very indulgence in school activities causes the years to pass swiftly by. As we walk through the halls for the last time, we realize that we are soon to step out into the busy world But we are prepared, for we not only possess a wealth of facts, but also know how to make use of them. This is the value of club and class activities. These activities have been recorded and placed in this volume, a treasure chest of memories of the school year 195 6-57.
