Mascot Highlights Year The Junior High Cheerleaders were kept busy during the 1984- 85 school year. The squad con- sisted ot 4 seventh graders, 3 eighth graders, and 2 ninth graders. Last year the Jr. High Cheerleaders added a new and exciting feature, a cheerleading mascot. The mascot was Tenille Johnson. The squad was under the direction of Mrs. Johnson. F.A.C. Draws to Compete Paint, brushes, pens, tablets, and sketches were common items found in Fine Art Club members' pockets and bookbags. Fine Arts Club con- sisted of 12 members for the 1984-85 school year. During the year the students were kept busy preparing exhibits for several contests. The requirement to become a Fine Arts Club member is to have an artistic in- terest in beautifying the com- munity and school. The students also painted the backdrop for the school play in the fall. The advisor is Mr. Lauver.
