Michelle Kowalski, and Stacey Pierson The cheerleading squad consisted of two seniors, four juniors, and four sophomores. Being a cheerleader means more than just cheering and getting the crowd involved. It takes a lot of time and effort all of which takes place after school. Kim Clement was the head cheerleader, and Kara Cook was the co- captain. The sponsors for the cheerleaders were Sandy Bartholomew and Miss Freberg. Mascot Highlights Year The Junior High Cheerleaders were kept busy during the 1984- 85 school year. The squad con- sisted ot 4 seventh graders, 3 eighth graders, and 2 ninth graders. Last year the Jr. High Cheerleaders added a new and exciting feature, a cheerleading mascot. The mascot was Tenille Johnson. The squad was under the direction of Mrs. Johnson.
