Tracksters Set Relay Record The 1984-85 Jr. High Boys' track team consisted of 15 boys. The team had six meets and competed at the Burwell ln- vitational where they placed fourth. At the Broken Bow Invitational the tracksters placed second. They defeated Albion in a dual. At the Loup City Invita- tional the 3200 meter relay set a new record ot 9:41.49 Members of the relay team were Randy Cullers, Paul Young, Bob Miller, and Chadd Murray. Coach Huston stated, Overall I felt we had a fairly successful season considering our small number ot competitors. They reached the long awaited goal of winning the Ord Invitational which was held on a cold rainy day. Coach Williams com- mented, The team started off quite strong but due to illness, during the season things slow- ed down quite a bit. Highlights of the season in- cluded a first place finish at the Ord Invite, third place at the Columbus Scotus Invite, and fifth place at the Albion Invite.
