Varsity Girls ' Break Records Varsity Girls' track coach Rich Cecetka had one State qualifier this year, Tammy Vancura. The junior qualified in the discus. She also holds the school record in the shot- put with a throw of 35' 31k . Seniors Marie Wadas and Jenny Anderson both had a very good season. Each of the girls proved their talents throughout the season. Wadas, who is the Central Con- ference Discus Champion, also holds the school record in the same event. Anderson tied the school record in the high jump with a jump of 4'1O . The two-mile relay team was also praised by Coach Cecetka for being consistent in all meets. Good Parficipafion From Varsify Boys Two members qualified for the state track meet this year from the Varsity Boys team senior Randy Welniak and sophomore Dan Klimek. Randy participated in the 800 and Dan in the 1600 and the 3200. Randy hails an unbeaten record in the 800. Coach Gene Suhr commented, Dan and Randy did an outstan- ding job and there was good par- ticipation from every team member. 04 f Varsity Boys' Track Top: Lined up and ready to go are R Welniak and T.
