H Night ot the Top A Night at the Top. This was the theme of Prom 1984. Prom this year was something very special for most juniors and seniors. The banquet, held at the Veterans Club, May 5, started with the couples being seated by sophomore servers dressed as clowns. Guest speaker, Richard Ernst, spoke of pro- blem times while growing up. After the banquet, prom-goers walked upstairs to the new addition and entered through curtains and streamers, The dance floor resembled a big circus tent with a carousel in the middle. From 8:00-9:00 photographs were taken by Ray's Studio. The King and Queen were Tad Melia and Kim Hackel. Brian Meese and Kerrie Hackel were crowned Prince and Princess. Music was supplied by The Pud Brothers of Lincoln, Nebraska. Top: Some senior girls exposing their legs at prom. Above: DeDe Dubas and Randy Welniak pause to pose for a photo at prom.
