Chair. - S. Dowse, and Sec.- Treas. v P. Penas, The O Club girls were kept busy updating the OH show bulletin board and the trophy case with trophies and pictures. One way the members helped to promote school spirit was by selling sweaters to Chant fans. They also presented Rachel Oliver, a basketball player seventy years ago at OHS, with an award. Requirements to be an O Club member are that you must have earned' a varsity letter in a sport and be active in sports that year. Jr. High Cheerleoders Leorn Routines The 83-84 Jr. High cheerleaders were S. Johnson, M. Kowalski, T. Stethem, S. Trubey, D. Nolte, and A. Paider were busy this year lear- ning new routines and cheering at the Jr. High games. The captain of the squad was Sara Trubey co-captain was Shelley Johnson. Faculty sponsor was Barbara Johnson. To become a member, students must try-out in front of a panel of impartial judges. Drill Teom Squod Shows Spirit The Ord High Drill Team was active this year. They performed with the band at half-time shows and marches. Also, they performed routines for the basketball games using pom-poms, gloves, and flags. The captain of the '83-'84 squad was Janel Manchester. Faculty sponsors for the Drill Team are Mr. Stephen Niles and Miss Janene Hromas. Selection for members is by audition.
