Cheerleoding Brings Populoritg Becoming a cheerleader br- ings with it a certain popularity, but it also takes a lot of hard work learning new routines, making posters, and putting on pep rallies. To become a cheerleader all interested students must try-out in front of a panel of impartial judges. Co-ordination, personali- ty and timing are also important skills to have as a cheerleader. Jr. High Cheerleoders Leorn Routines The 83-84 Jr. High cheerleaders were S. Johnson, M. Kowalski, T. Stethem, S. Trubey, D. Nolte, and A. Paider were busy this year lear- ning new routines and cheering at the Jr. High games. The captain of the squad was Sara Trubey co-captain was Shelley Johnson. Faculty sponsor was Barbara Johnson.
