Flworeness Dog ,v . F.H.A. was active. Last year they hosted an Alcohol Awareness Day that received a large student turnout. For their efforts in doing this, they received the Red Rose Chapter Award. Requirements for membership are to be a Freshmen through Senior and be enrolled in a Home Ec. class or to have taken a class in Home Ec. The faculty sponsor for the group was Angela Wright. Future Farmers Hove Busy Schedule The Future Farmers of America had a busy schedule at this conces- sion stand during varsity games, participated in range judging, and entered the district contest. The FFA members also attended the na- tional and state conventions and Husker Harvest Days. They held their annual Greenhand Ceremony for initiating the new members. Lynette Staab was crowned 1983- 84 FFA Sweetheart. The 1983-84 State Farmers were S. Vancura, M. Nelson, J. Psota, P. Michalski, and J. Walahoski. Mr. Andreesen and Ed Bruha were the faculty sponsors. The re- quirement to be an FFA member is to be enrolled in a Voc.
