The Varsity 1986-1987 Baskelball Cheerleadmg squad has a lot to be proud ol ' Their 1 priority was to generate spirit and I think ihey did a super job! They are a very talented squad, who work well together and learned to compromise working very hard to plan assemblies and practicing lor various competitions They are the best cheerleading squad in our area ' The Varsity squad compel ed at regional state competition at Rockford High School on Feb. 14 They qualified lor finals held at Central Michi gan University on Feb 21 in which Ihey completed against the top 29 teams class B in the slate. They competed on television on the Special Olympics telethon Feb. 28. They competed against 7 other are squads The winner was decided by the most pledges called in their name.
