EXCHANGE STUDENTS Holger Meyer is from Germany. He was in football, wrestling, and track. His first impression of the U.S. was that people drive slow. Holger says he loves this country but misses his own country and friends so he wouldn ' t want to stay, but Watch Out he ' s coming back! Malene Jacobson from Denmark says, When I was in the airplane I saw a lot of pools, in Denmark we don ' t have pools. She likes play- ing Softball, and she thinks it ' s fun staying after school doing things, because in Denmark everybody just goes straight home. Malene likes it here, but at home she has different hours everyday, here it ' s just the same old thing everyday. She loves it here and has made a lot of friends, but she can ' t wait to see her old friends. i .k FEBRUARY Govert Gribling is from the Nether- lands. Govert was in the symphonic and marching bands, the cross country team, and the track team. He told us he couldn ' t believe he was really here, and that he had to pinch himself to see if it was real. He is having a great time here and he ' ll miss it all when he ' s gone, but he is here now and having a great time — that ' s all that matters.
