The assistant superintendant and the high school principal are retiring after 19 and 23 years, respectively. John Polanyi, 55, assistant superintendant since the Jolman District annexed to Orchard View in 1963, said he believes 31 years is long enough to be in a profession. Prior to the annexation, he worked in the Jolman District for 12 years, working his way up from teacher to principal to superintendent. Gerald Sielski, also 55, and the only principal of Orchard View High School, echoed Mr. Polanyi's conviction. VAfter 325 years in this profession, I think it's time we let someone else have a chance,V said Sielski. To that someone else, Richard Brothers, and to 1 0 4 Ng , l 5' 5 j vi V 'QQQLJ , 21 Z, f NN ALP O the successor of Mr. Polanyi, we wish good luck.
