Mike Burrel and Cindy Wilkinson 1978 King and Queen ..Scott Skidmore and Brigitte Cole were crowned King and Queen. The 1979 Homecoming was a big success. As the wind blew, the Cardinals downed the Lakers 14 9. After the game came cars from the Royal Corvette Club and the candidates for King and Queen. A hush came over the crowd and the King and Queen were announced. Scott and Brigitte were crowned. All the excitement on the field was carried over to the Middle School for the dance . OUD FIGHTING ...Even though this year ' s Girls Swim team didn ' t win a single meet, they still achieved something much more important than victory. They achieved sportsmanship, This year ' s Most Valuable Player was Joni Postmus. Coach Williams thinks that the team ' s timing has greatly improved . He said he was looking forward to coach- ing next year ' s team.
