. . .the tennis team ' s captain was Ken Mead? The Varsity team had a season record of 1-1. The coach, Mr. Robert Scandary, feels that this year ' s team was involved in more head game ' s. He is quoted, I feel that this year ' s team im- proved both in the physical and emotional aspect of the game. To play well is easy, but to keep your cool while doing it is quite another story. Consis- tent shoots and volleys accompanied with good first serves were some of the growth seen during the season. With the returning team mem- bers involvement in summer tennis programs , Orchard View should be a strong contender for the 1 spot next year. 161
