The thing he is going to miss most about the school and teaching is working with young people. An afterthought that Mr. Cowling wishes to express to the students is that a number of studonts don t realize soon enough the values that can be found in high school education. The theme for the banquet, which was put on by Pep Club, was Winter Fun. Lori Leiding. Pep Club President, gave the welcome and read the histories of the can- didates. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Triple Trio. Presentations were made by Pep Club sponsors Yvonne Conrad and Linda Anderson and Coaches Tim Manzer. Philip Mann, and Arlo Pinkorman. The speaker for the evening was Tom Rudd, a former University of Nebraska football player. A dance followed with music provided by the Hitchcock Road Band. Jr.-Sr. Prom The OHS Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom was held Friday. May 2. in the school gym. The theme of the prom was Love Unlimited. The gym was decorated with various colors of streamers and song titles along the walls. A rainbow with a decorated globe in the center illustrating the theme was the main attraction. Mothers of the junior class served the delicious meal. During the banquet, the welcome was given by Arvin Brandt, and a thanks given by Pat Kellogg and Bruce Ickes for the Senior Class. Then the senior class wills were read by Amy Buxton and Dana Snyder, and the prophecies were read by Grace Lamport and Greg Mattern. Entertainment included a skit by the sophomore servers, and the Tri- ple Trio and the Barbershop Quartet each presented two numbers. A dance followed the banquet with music provided by Phoenix.
