Aflectionately dubbed The Spook bj his classmates, because of his 5' 10 135 lbs form Walt is no ush-over 7 - ' 9 P Y either in class or in the line of sports. Walt has been an outstanding basketball player at Oratory. His speed and sharp shooting, have been of inestimable help to Oratory, through its winning seasons In baseball he has been a real s a lx l . p r ' p ug. As lead-off batter for the last three years, on Oratory's Championship h. teams, is speed and knack of getting on base counted heavily. At short- stop his defensive play was fine, Walter has a nice personality, and is very considerate, which has made him really one of the boys . We are confident his spirit and determination will stand by him in the great battle of life. Good luck, Walt.

Gene has been a real student, always well prepared for class, a thing so much desired by teachers. His consistent high marks in all his subjects stamped his versatility. Science, however, was his favorite and he plans to continue on that line. Sports beckoned to Eugene, and he gave a good account of himself at all times. His spirit and perseverance made him a real handy man in base- ball and football. His chief hobby was electrical trains, but his liking for television was a close second. Gene intends to take up chemical engineering and we have high hopes that he will acquit himself very well. judging by his work at Oratory, success will be his. Good luck, Gene . l g 'W E N S l-a ssi ' , ' J, all

Al's pleasing smile and personality caught on quickly, and automatically made him one of the boys. Al's athletic ability can hardly be replaced here at Oratory. Many times you could see him making a long run with the pigskin, or setting up two points on the basketball court. Al plans to play baseball this spring. We are sure he will be a great help in the infield and with the bat. Al's future plans are to enter college to take up engineeringg how- ever, he has not as yet decided on which college. 'We are certain he will make good, for, the same fine qualities he showed on the held of sports, will stand by him, in the game of life. The best of luck, Al.
