Allen was quickly accepted as one of the boys, at Oratory, and was at once looked upon as a likely lad. During his years here Allen made the varsity football team, receiving a starting assignment, because of his Sterling work, almost immediately. His weight, power, and all-round ability brought him success on the grid- iron, where he earned his nickname. Allen must love that town of Spring Lake, N. because whenever hc mentions it, his face lights up. His great joy is to plan hshing and hunting trips. This shows his great love for the out of doors. Al's genial disposi- tion has made him a favorite. We have no doubt that in alter years, he will visit Oratory and invite us to visit him, for a get-together with the old boys. The Bear is planning to enter college in the tall, but his choice is, as yet, undecided. Best of luck and good going to you, Al. We know you will render a good account of yourself anywhere.

Sal's brother Vin, Oratory Sl , had already set a mark for Sal to follow. Besides being a conscientious student, Sal found time for Varsity fb 'ness football, and entered into all class activities. His knowledge o LlS1 placed him on the Oratorian staff, in that Capacity. His fondness for danc- ing made him a natural for Dance Committee. Sal's hobbies include fishing, bowling and golfg however, we question some stories and scores! We hear also, that he is an authority on tropical flish, which he breeds. Len came to us from Philly in freshmen year, as a gift from the City of Brotherly Love. Needless to say, he has been a good advertisement for Philadelphia. Lenny's taste runs to flashy clothes and popular music. When he steps out, his pleasing appearance and gentlemanly conduct gain many friends. His fine work as business manager of the 1953 Oratorian won for him the high post of the 1954 Editor. He also found time for work on the school newspaper and made his television appearance on the junior Town Meeting program. Rumor has it that he is partial to a certain Philadelphia Miss and that his visits to Philly are not too boring. ' Len's future plans include real estate study at Temple U. We look for a bright future, Len. Good Luck.
