But return- 1 1 Qj A Q(A ![)Y, XAri ing as a junior or senior was something en- tirely different. I know I ' m the top; there is no one to look up to; I ' m the one they look up to, said senior Karen Schertle. Seniors and juniors — they were the ones who set the standards for everything. When seniors got rowdy at games, danced at dances and joined clubs, everyone else followed, said Peggy Baker. After a long summer without the typical high school activities students were really fired up, seniors especially. We wanted to make the most of our last year. We took advantage of all the activities, said Scher- tle. Guided by tradition, seniors hoped to ave their mark; they wanted future classes to remember the class of ' 84 as hav- ing a personality of its own.
