Our second year Tollowed close upon The heels oT The TirsT, and we were pleased To Tind ourselves well inTo The swing oT Things. Our class members Toolc an acTive parT in all sporTs, campus acTiviTies. and many were members oT one oT The Two honor socieTies. The iunior year broughT TorTh many brighT spoTs. As upperclassmen, our inTeresT was renew- ed. and school spiriT was TurTher emphasized by The class rings and sweaTers. On The evening oT Decem- ber 9, l938, our junior class play, One Mad NighT , was presenTed beTore a large and enThusi- asTic audience. The year was closed by a iunior- senior banqueT oi unusual proporTions, which gave The ouTgoing seniors a good send-oTT. As seniors, we really wenT To Town. On xi December 8, our senior class play, SororiTy T-louse , was greeTed wiTh wide acclaim, and played beTore The largesT house in several years. SporTs and oTher camous acTiviTies were again enTered inTo by class members, Membership in boTh The TirsT and second honor socieTies increased Trom 23 To 30 in our Tour years oi high school, As our giTT To The school, The senior class chose a recording machine Tor use in The music and speech deparTmenT. We are now abouT To leave.
