Season's Record Orange 39 Hudson 30 Eldora 24 Janesville 39 Wapsie Valley 5th Place Vinton Invitational Tournament 20 Jesup 14 Columbus 28 Grundy Center 3rd Place Orange Invitational Tournament 40 Ackley-Geneva 27 North Tama 26 LaPorte City 10 Cedar Falls 2nd Place State Sectional Tournament The 1967-68 Grapplers lived up to their reputa- tion as they posted a 8-3 win-loss record during a tough dual meet season. In addition, they tied for the North Iowa Cedar League Conference Champ- ionship, placed 4th at the Vinton Invitational, 3rd at The Orange Invitational and 2nd in the State Sectionals. Jeff Rosen, Larry Boyd, Gene White, Steve Klingaman, and Dave Tyler won berths to the State District at Cedar Rapids and Larry Boyd qualified to go to State. Success only comes after much hard work. This was the reason for the rewards earned by the 1967- 68 Wrestling team. They faced many obstacles, dis- appointments, and tough competition to make their place in the annals of Orange Wrestling.
