I Class Prophecy It has been ten years since the class of '52 has been together, and to- night on a cool evening in May we are having a party in the new ultra-modern field house recently constructed at Orange High. As I stand at the door welcqning my fonner classmates, I see Donald Heckroth lhnping toward me, crutches and all. When I inquired about his condition, he replied he was just recovering fran a slight accident which happened while he was driving a stock car at the Tunis Speedway in Waterloo. The next guest was Marcella Bulthuis who is now a famous basketball center on an All American team Next we see two grease monkeys, Garnold Hoskins and Keith Jones, who run a shop for overhauling Fords Walking up the walk now is Loretta Griswold, Darlene Nelson, and Shirley Crook They tell me that they are running a fashion shop in New York They also said that Marilyn Miller was unable to make it to the party, but that she is the model in their shop I hear the grinding of gears and a cloud of oil, and out ju ps Paul Schreiber with our refreshments As the oil clears away, I see the hopped up milk bugvy he was driving What's this!! Here cones Ray Moss' Towing Service pulling Kay Putney's 1924 Cadillac Kay is a successful divorce lawyer in Reno After talking to Angela Kerr a while, she told me that she had just finished swimming the English Channel I congratulated her and looked up to see Jim Lindner coming toward me He informed me that he is a cook in a Chicago restaurant I wandered over to the window and saw the fmniliar face of that well known lady wrestler, RoJean Wagner Following Nicked Wagner was her manager, JoAnn Weigle, who is now the loving wife of Joe S1ght's Jr My next guest was Donald Dewald who looked like he was sitting on top of the world I asked him why he was so happy, and he informed me that he had just invented a third cylinder for John Deere Tractors In next cones Donna Pullin who is now one of the leading women Jockeys in the United States Then a prosperous looking gentleman comes strolling up the wal: It is Dwight Blough who is a lingerie salesman in Black's Next we see the two happiest girls in the world They are Gertrude Driscoll and Doris Engel, who are running NHappy Haven a bachelor's board ing house I see that all my former classmates have done pretty well for them selves, as for myself, Russell Moss, when I graduated I started out to work my way around the world I am now working in a grocery store in Washburn Q Russell Moss YU to '35 Crlm-1 S- 9 , L - N ' Q55 sl . - j 1 Q 1 . f I.
