SALUTE s THE DRAHATIC ACTIVITIES OF 1950-Sl Dramatics are a highlight of the activities at Orange Grove High School. The 1950 plays produced by the junior, senior, and speech classes were: nThe Bargain Briden Uwe Shook the Eamil Treen and Y 9 HPeople are Eunnyu. The junior class of 1950-Sl presented HThe Able Miss Cainn. The cast included Emily Goodson, Curtis Prestwood, Jo Ellen King, Jimmie Dear, Gussie Mae Tendrix, Charles Baker, Olene Knott, Carolyn Jones, Betty Long, Greta Clark, Glatha Smith, Jack Saucier, Gilbert Switzer, and Mildred Hendry. The senior and speech class plays had not been selected at the time of this publication. THE PARENT-TEACHERYS ASSOCIATION The Orange Grove Parent-Teacher's association, which has a membership of a hundred and sixty-two, sponsors a number of school activities, including the Halloween Carnival and Recreation Night, and contributes to the general advancement of the school throughout the year.
