Camping, sking and hiking are just a few of the major activities sponsored by the Outing Club. The hi fhlight of the club's e orts was the ski-week at VVhite Face Mountain. During intersession, thrity people journeyed to XVhite Face for a fun-filled week of sking. Rifle Club The purpose of the OCCIC Rifle Club is to pro- mote firearm safety among individual members, and to teach the members. to fire a .22 rim tire rifle at a pre-arranged safe shooting area. Niem- bership is open to all students of the school. 'Hie only requirement is that they become members of the National Rifle gXssociation. The club meets ev- ery Thursday at 11:00 AM. at the Middletown State .Xrmory on Ilighland Avenue to fire their rifles on the range in the building. If information pertinent to the club is brought ui. the meeting place is changed to lludson 1053. Tie members of the club are given the opportunity to earn awards based on proficency with the rifle.
