The ,changing of a black in ridden heart into one that is whiter than snow amazes our normal thinking. But the students of Open Bible Col- lege have witnessed the conversion of a dark, dirty, dis- tasteful room in the basement of the school into a bfi ht, Loeautiful, 'blessed prayer room. X At the Monday evening Jubilee Service the room was -edicated to the Lord for rayer only. Rev. C. Russell Archer's timely remarks in- TAKE X cluded admonitions to keep 9 he prayer room, for prayer, ,o conversation alowed3 not to be used for class rooms or eetings of any kind.. The HDeeper Life Conferencen was held wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 6, 7,' and 8, in the school chapel with most of the time devoted to prefer and seeking God. The result was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a marvelous way. A Under the direction of Une Rev. and Mrs. Ernie Rogers the conference was scheduled to close with Friday night's ,service, but because of the leading of the Lord a Jubilee Rally was called for Monday night also. Young people and ,pastors of the city gathered with the students for this service. During the services eight' students of the school were filled with the Spirit. An alunmus also visited the meet- ing and was filled. One young person from a. 'church in Des Moines received her baptism in the Holy Spirit on the last 'night. The services were all good andto say one is better thanl another is difficult to do. ! -However special mention should be made of the Friday morning service. The leading of the. Spirit was certainly outstand- ing as He melted every heart' in a time of soul cleansing. Tears flowed freely as each person searched his heart be- fore God. Uwhat Meaneth This?H It means that God's promises are true. It means that the sal- vation of souls is still the supreme goal of the church. It means that there is an ex- perience that God would have his people enjoy to enable them to reach sinners for the glory of God. May the world ask the qies- tion Hwhat meaneth this?U And may our life answer, NThis is .God working in our hearts-
