We have Claude W heard many wonderful reports of the accomplishments of these missionaries. The Sun- day School has grown immensely and they now have added four classes. They have to hold some classes outside the building. Plans are being made to build a new church which will seat one thousand members in Sunday School. Praise God for this wonder- ful expansion. At the age of 17 he went to Hamburg, Germany and became a Presbyterian Missionary to the Jews. While there he accepted Christ as his Saviour. In May of 1913 he left Europe for ARGENTINA, In 1918 he took up nurses train- ing and graduated in December of 1921. Peter came to the United States of America in May of 1922 to study for the ministry. He lived in Los Angeles until 1936. Upon arriving in the States he realized the smallness of his education. First of all, he was left an orphan at eleven years of age. While studying long hours at nursing he had no time to further his education. In order to become an American citizen he had to enter civil service which required a high school education. He therefore entered night schools because he was too old to enter day schools. He attended God's Bible School at Cincin- nati, Ohiog Kansas City Bible School and later came to Open Bible In- stitute. Upon coming to Bible School he could speak fluently in three languages and read and write in seven. Bro. Kizner graduated from Open Bible Institute in 1940. Since then he has been doing Missionary work in ARGENTINA, the land of his call- ing. 31

Ma Hammond H 1 Bob Bush Pri LaVon and Paul Hartman 1 Oward Stone, Bilizua ' rown rlene Gwen Paul and LaVon Hartman began their present labors in Cuba in June, 1948. They met with much opposition to the Gospel at the be- ginning of their ministry. Though many things happened, however, they remained faithful to their calling and now God has sent other laborers to help them. Three couples, Lewis and Tullia Miller, Bill and Toonie Heflin and Don and Margaret Smith, are their co-workers. The Open Bible Mission in Cuba has six churches, two of which are supporting their own native worker. The harvest truly is ripe in Cuba. and we praise God that He has sent forth these laborers into His great harvest field!
