1975 Mustang m Volume 17 Oologah Schools Oologah, Oklahoma Board Of Education Challenging students of this school district to higher levels of excellence, this Board of Education realizes that as civilization has become more complex, the problems of society have also become more intricate. Study, work, and enjoy are the three things necessary in this world of unlimited opportunities for those who accept the challenge. In trying to meet this level of excellence, these men have provided, to the utmost, whatever is possible and available. Elementary Advertising Superintendent Of Schools A One of the principal functions here at the Oologah Public Schools is the dissemination of good prac- tices through shared experiences, pooled informa- tion and cooperative attacks on the many problems that face our children in today's society. The individual child in our schools is more clearly in focus in instructional activities today than ever before. High School Principal The secret of happy and successful living is taking time to live. The currents of life are swift and stimulating, and the demands are absorbing. There are many more things to do than we can ever get done. Therefore, we must learn to do those things which are the most important and worthwhile. Time cannot be saved. It can only be spent, and if not spent wisely and well, it is wasted and lost. There is no way of restoring it; once gone it never returns. Asst. H.S. Principal (L. TO R.) Principal 5 Middle School Principal Elementary Principal 6 Dear Students: We hope that this year has been educational and beneficial for every student at Oologah Junior High. It is our desire that the needs and interest of each student be met. In our attempt to meet the needs and interest we have added speech therapy, art, counsel- ing, and the EDL Reading Lab to our curriculum. We are attempting to promote to the individual student the self-confidence necessary for making a person successful in life. We hope that every student takes advantage of the many opportunities presented to him at Oologah Junior High. Sincerely, (L. TO R.) Jack Dryden. Jo© Mosely. Mrs. Shirley Butler. Elemen- tary and Middle School Secretary; and Mrs. Jo Gray, Secretary for Lunch Program. The basic purpose of education is to develop the natural curiosity and creativity found in all children. The challenge of education is to help each student, as an in- dividual, discover his interests and develop his talents as effectively as possible. A well-ordered education is like climbing a tower; the view halfway up is better than the view from the base, and it steadily becomes finer as the horizon expands.
