This group performs vital jobs but remain unseen by the vast majority of the students and patrons whom they serve. They are constantly looking for ways to improve the curriculum as well as this wonderful plant that house the learning of our students. Left to right Jim Todd, Vice-President Harold Christy, Member Aubrey Faught. President Walter Dierolf, Member Darrel Pearson, Clerk 64 Vital Role To School When a school system provides adequate plant facilities for its school population, it begins to study the nature and character of its students. It then offers various curricular opportunities, so that every student is placed in the school program, and may develope his full potential. Here at Oologah the Board and Staff are striving to apply educational philosophies that fulfill each students educational need in this ever changing world. Mr. Gerald Gay Assistant H. S. Principal It has been a pleasure being high school principal of a school whose staff and st udents are made up of such outstanding people as will be found in the pages of this annual. This year has been successful because of the work, cooperativeness, loyalty, and untiring effort of each faculty member and student. It is my sincere hope that all of your relationships with Oologah School have been pleasant and have con- tributed to your being a better citizen in our great democracy. This book represents a record of one year of your life. Your friends, your social activities, your wins, and even some of your failures are contained in these pages. Mostly it reflects a carefree time in your life and yet you will recall the serious side of school life when you remember this school year. As the years go by, I wish for you peace and happiness and the blessings of God, who is the giver of all good things in life. High School Principal 66 Mrs. Angela Fry High School Secretary And Assistants Important Duties To the Annual Staff It has been my privilege to work with all the wonderful people found throughout the pages of this book.
