BOARD WORKS FOR EXPANSION The story of the growth of Oologah schools is fascinating. This, to us, might be known as the modern era of school expan- sion. The Board of Education finds itself involved in the challenge of attempting to solve this problem. They labor long hours, on their own time, to insure the best for the youth of this community. The near future will see the results of their untiring efforts of a dream becoming reality-the construction of a new high school building with the best that can be afforded. WALTER DIEROLF, Clerk HAROLD PEARSON, Vice-President CHESTER PENNER. President HAROLD CHRISTY, Member FORREST CORLETT. Member . . . IT IS A WAY OF LIFE The 1970 Mustang is designed to be a record of the school year, but it is more than that. In the years to come, it will be a key that unlocks the door to forgotten memories of past friendships and adventures. However, it is just a continuation of something that is never finished and will never be-for friendships and memories go on and on. 2

ADMINISTRATION REFLECTS RICH PROFESSIONAL In the world today, we are in a race between education and catastrophe. Either we acquire sufficient knowledge and wisdom to solve our problems or an un- welcome tyranny will destroy us. We are richly endowed in our heritage, institutions, resources, and personnel. With a strong determination and resolute mind, we will not be destroyed. So let us take up our tools, the family love we have as given by the home; knowledge as given by our institution; and wisdom that only God can give. We should dedicate ourselves to the end that our nation under God, will have a new birth, and be the home of Truth, Freedom and Justice, now and forever. 4
