MISS CAROLYN WADDELL gives the students a background ot history and of social and economic development to enable them to evaluate current events. Under the guidance of MRS. BILLIE BROWN, crafts, figure drawing, and painting are offered in the field of art. She also teaches Spanish. The end of a busy day brings a moment’s relaxation for MRS. DOROTHY HALE, librarian.

The reading clinic, headed by MRS. DORTHA COOK, provides reading diag- noses and remedial reading for children hav- ing a need for it. MRS. JO ELLA MOSLEY, third grade teacher, knows she wrote herself a note, now all she needs to do is find it. Cold was the word on this day that MRS. HELEN HARRELSON, 6th grade teacher, MRS. RUBY JANKEY,and MRS. BETTY HENDRICKS, both 4th grade teachers, su- pervised playground activities which is in ad- dition to their classroom teaching. Comparing notes, joint classroom planning and exchanging of ideas is a fast way to come up with a plan for action in the teaching field agree the following teachers, MRS. JEAN SPICER, Kindergarten, MRS. MARY BECK, 1st grade, MRS. MORA LEE WIGG1NTON, 2nd grade and MRS. LOUISE PIGUET, 1st grade. MR. JOE MOSLEY, 6th grade teacher and MRS. HELEN FLINT, 4th grade teacher, arc admission gate keepers at one of the home ball games. This is one of the du- ties performed outside the classroom.
