The month of February is visible in the background as MRS. MILDRED RAUEBER and MRS. HELEN HARRELSON, both fifth grade teachers prepare to display a replica of George Washington crossing the Delaware. The simple activity of picking up their mail each day often reveals many changes of plans for MRS. RUBY JANKEY, fourth grade teacher, and MRS. HELEN FLINT, third grade teacher. Keeping the admission gate at home basketball game is one of the many duties performed by teachers outside of the classroom. At this particular game is, left to right: MRS. Keeping all band instruments ready for use for students as well as for himself is MR, A L HAMP- TON who is caught adjusting a key on a clarinet. MR. WALTER SOWARDS prepares to do a little practicing before making a selection for his chorus group. MR. JOHNNY WHITE, Social Studies and Drivers Education teacher, and MR. JACK NEEL, Industrial Arts teacher prepare to leave to pick up supplies that are needed. Before the class work began for the day, the camera caught MR. A place to sit, rest, compare their notes and check papers, where their pencils are worn down more than once, is the place and time that the photog- rapher snapped MRS. Keeping our building spotless, and assisting in any way possible for the smooth operations of our plant, are our able custodians Earl Walker, Roy Burke, who is also our mechanic; and Scottie Canfield.
