Uffl [E MQJSUANG 96 In the years to come, may this yearbook bring back pleasant memo- ries of your school days. This has been an inspiration to us as we worked to put these pictures together to make The Mustang a reality to us. The Staff Left to Right: Carolyn Blakley-------------Sec. Earl Mynatt------------Bus. Mgr. Evelyn Brazeal--------------Class Ed. Phyllis Haynes------------Sports Ed. Larry Buster Betty Penner-------------Art Ed. Pearlene Taylor--------Act. Ed. Mrs. Worden---------------Spon. Merrillyn Intemann---Asst. Ed. Editor We, of the Mustang Staff , shall always recall the kindness, consideration, patience, understanding, and guidance that have helped to solve our many prob- lems during these past years of our cherished high school memories. A possessor of these qualities, and one whom, we as Staff Member s believe has helped us tremendously, is our annual sponsor and commerce teacher, Mrs. Priscilla Worden. We hereby, humbly and most sincerely, dedicate our Mustang of '61 in her honor. Dear Students: As the years go by you will measure the satisfaction you have had in your school life in terms of the extent to which you participated in classroom and other activities. The experiences that will mean the most to you are those which have required your be st thinking in planning and your best effort in doing. At our school, we have endeavored to train you to work carefully and earnestly at any task which you might undertake. If, as you go into life, you will carry this attitude with you, worthy accomplishment will be yours. What more could one ask? The opportunity of making friends in your school life is one of great value-- cultivate it. The experiences you share with your friends make life richer, more wholesome, and more satisfying. Your school days are valuable days in that during the time shared here you are given the opportunity to serve others in many ways. Never forget that you can greatly increase your happiness by contributing to the happiness of your friends and associates. It is a pleasure to have served as your superintendent. I deeply appreciate the many friends we have made and it will be with considerable interest that I will watch your progress in life after your high school days are past. It is my sincere wish that each of you may have a rich, happy, and gratifying school life, and that you may find your place in the life of our community, state, nation, and the world in such a manner that you willbe a happy and prosperous citizen of our America.
