James was born near Talala on June 12. 1934 and attended school here all his life with the ex- ception of one year. On August 31, 1953, James met with a great misfortune in a farm accident causing the loss of his left arm and leg. To one whose willingness has been tested and his cooperative spirit exemplified in all his efforts and attitudes, we proudly say Hats off to James.
