The team moved into the finals by defeating St. Johns 91 to 77, Elnore, 74 to 38, and Plainville, 66 to 54. ln the finals played at Terre Haute, the Bearcats beat Terre Haute Wiley by a score of 50 to 47, but they were eliminated by Farmersburg, 53 to 59. In the Sectional Tournament played at Bedford, the Bearcats defeated Williams, 52 to 50, and Shawswick, 55 to 47. In the final game, however, they lost to Paoli in an exciting overtime with the score 50 to 48.
