Q While working on my homework the other night, I sat back and started to think of what the future holds in store for the Senior Class of 1956. I fell asleep and had this dream. I dreamed that I had entered a cave in ancient Greece and heard a voice. The voice was from a Delphic Oracle Wh0 prophesied the future of the class. He told me the class was going to have a lot of successful and worthwhile people. He also stated that the future men and women from our class will grow into respectable citizens of the country and their own towns or communities. I see Howard Biegler vaguely out there in a mist. Oh, wait, it is clearing and there he is, sitting at his desk with the sign '4Manager of Business on his office door. In his spare time, he's the original playboy. usailing, sailing, over the bounding main - Ahoy there! Look at Walter Baughman. He says, 'cIt's a bachelor's life for rne. Navy, here I comell' Along the dock come Dan Berggren, Robert Myers and John Schoonmaker resplendent in their dashing Navy uniforms of blue and white. Bob has just come back from circling the globe in his leisure time, while John is home on leave, sporting a real gone outfit from Mexico. Dig that crazy mixed up shirt! Rosalie Jones has become a corporation lawyer for I.B.M. Kevin Eagen is her boss. Ball-point pens are cheaper, now-a-days with Robert Aley employed at Wanamakerls department store. They are now eleven cents. Bob lures people to his counter by singing about his wares, he is training to become a popular crooner. Remember Walter Etz? He prints bigger and better newspapers since he has returned home to Germany. Mary Jackson and Stephanie Cange have just graduated from nursing school. Mary immediately

joined the Navyis Nursing Corps and rapidly rose to the rank of first Lieutenant. Stephie, along with Doris Juliano, Pat Farrell, Wilma Simmons and ,loan Sommerville traveled around the world. Did you see that streak of lightning? That was Glenn Glass, United States winner of the Nation- al AAU Track Event of two and a half miles with a time of nine minutes and twenty seconds. He is practicing for the next Olympic event in 1960. Taylor University in Indiana is having a hard time quelling Trudy Krein's high-jinks. Trudy is leading a hilarious and flirtatious life, she goes out on the town every other night. In a pretty little cottage on Domestic Lane lives Mary Gulnac with her family of four children. She is very friendly with her neighbor, Lila Kirk who also has a brood of four. Lila has a full schedule-she is employed in the firm of YH in Kingston, N. Y. Look at that trim figure skim- ming along the crest of the Florida waves! Why, itfs Alice Stevens! Shels become a water-skiing instructor. On her dry days she is a secretary to the law firm of the Federal Depositor's Insurance Corporation. Ed Swenson coaches Colgate's spectacular foot- ball team, but like all important men, Ed has a hobby-chicken farming. ,loan Trowbridge will be working hard for about a year and then the man of her dreams will come along and sweep her off her feet to award her with a Mrs Degree. Mary Ellen Staiger will be attending Albany Business School and then will become the Presi- dent's secretary. Bob Shultis will be taking Duke Snider's place in center field. He will have a batting average of 616. Boy, heis hot! Dorothy Lewis will become a secretary's aid to a handsome major in the U.S. Air Force. Linda Marlatt will teach first grade for one year and then receive her '6Mrs. Degree also. The Olympic weight lifter of 1960 will be .loe LaRocca. He will have broken the world's record by lifting 64.0 pounds. Joan Gelbert and Dorothy Williams will be flirting with the boys during their lunch hour at I.B.M. Pete Pike will graduate from a college of elec- trical engineering and work for C.B.S. Making her debut on Friday the 13, 1960, Jacqueline Friedman will captivate the audience by playing a Mozart Concerto in Carnegie Hall while being accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra. Alma Every will be a tremendous success in home life and as a business secretary. Ben Robinson and Dave Leacock and Bob Hall are having fun in the big blue sky. They are all jet aces in Uncles Sam's Air Force. Rudy Rossmann will be sailing the coast of America as an Admiral of the Coast Guard. The job he likes best is rescuing maidens in distress. Sandra Anderson will be a secretary to a big executive who has a swanky yacht that goes between the United States and Bermuda. Bill Caton will be drawing cartoons and adver- tisements for the G'Saturday Evening Postf, Bill Reynolds will be a surveyor going to his jobs in a fieet of Jaguars. He only owns two, but that's good enough for the girls of New York City. While skiing on the slopes of Belleayre, Caro- line Draper will be getting patients by the dozens by running other skiers into trees. Tch, tch - - they should have watched where they were going! This girl is very progressive. Reg Rider will still be as shy as efcr. He will be cruising all over the world in his 60-foot yacht. Lee Schirmer will be playing the harp in the college orchestra at night, while during the day, he will be designing Fords. The new head of the New York State Conser- vation Department is ,lohn Fricke. Since he has been in office, there hasn't been a conflagration yet. Tony Barringer, chief machinist at l.B.lVl., will be working hard. A staff of half-a-dozen stout men will be under him. George Bedell will be working on diesel en- gines and at the end of the day, will drive fifteen miles to his house in six minutes in a 'hot Merch Rosemary Fuchs will be a secretary for a big concern. She will be in charge of foreign material because of her experience in P.O.D. Class. Ray Shultis is planning wedlock. But right now, he's broke and a fabulous wedding seems far in the future. So, after O.C.S. he's off to get a job and earn some moola. People tune in 5'News Caravan nightly, to listen to reports of Dot Parsons, progress on her hitch-hiking tour of the world. Lester Shultis is busy on his farm, trying to breed a chicken with four legs, for people who like drum sticks.
